InnoCORE Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers (AITA Research Group)*
Established in Summer 2025, AI–Transformed Aerospace (AITA) Research Group is leading
the innovation in the Aerospace Engineering field. The research group comprises investigators from four science and technology institutes in South Korea (KAIST, UNIST, GIST, and DGIST) who are applying artificial intelligence methodologies to aerospace systems.
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in AI
technologies in the aerospace domain. The candidate should: 1) have a PhD degree in
Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields specializing in the area
of artificial intelligence, 2) have excellent problem–solving skills as well as good oral and
written communication skills, and 3) be passionate about “AI–Transformation” of “Aerospace Systems” in their various lifecycle phases.

We offer a competitive compensation package starting at 100,000,000 KRW (~ USD
71,000), depending on the experience and capability of the candidate. The successful candidate will work in one of the four institutes (KAIST, UNIST, GIST, and DGIST) with a faculty mentor. A co–mentor from top global institutes (e.g., MIT, CalTech, UC Berkeley, and CU Boulder) can be matched when eligible.
